Star Trek's Wil Wheaton gives deadly advice about being called a nerd

IF THERE’S ONE person who knows a thing or two about how to cope with being called nerdy it’s Star Trek and Stand By Me actor Wil Wheaton.

He was at Denver Comic Con when a little girl posed a question that really seemed to resonate with him.

When you were a kid were you called a nerd and if so, how did you deal with it?

Wheaton gave an impassioned response that we quite simply can’t summarise: Just watch.
